Happy New Years Eve! I love the holidays, and I’m super excited this year because we came home for Christmas! Whenever I land in the Keys, my first stop, yes my first stop, is the liquor store to pick up some Keke Key Lime Liquor so I can make a key lime pie martini recipe!

Man oh man, I love this stuff! It taste like citrus, but is sweet, creamy, and has a kick! These martinis go down easy like you’re having key lime pie. So watch out! If you drink too many, you could find yourself sleeping on the beach! I rim the glass in graham crackers and top it off with vodka-infused lime whipped cream. Oh yeah!

    • Vanilla vodka - 2 shots/3 oz
    • Pineapple juice - 1 shot/1.5 oz (Dole Pineapple Juice)
    • Heavy cream or half & half - 1 shot/1.5 oz (I use Trader Joe's Whipping Cream)
    • 1 key lime cut into wedges
    • Whipped cream
    • Ice
    • Graham Cracker crumbs
    • 2 martini glasses

    1. First, get a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice!
    2. Next, take your graham cracker crumbs and pour some onto a small plate.
    3. Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your glass. Then, dip your glass into the crumbs to rim your glass! Oh my, I can already taste it!
    4. Next, fill your shaker with ice, pour your liquor, juice, and cream. Now shake, shake, shake that shaker to mix the ingredients! Don't forget to put the lid on before shaking or you will have key lime martini all over your kitchen!

My daughter worked at a bar where they sold this as a Key Lime Pie Martini. I swear that's what it tastes like, a key lime pie. Whatever it's called, it's absolutely DELICIOUS. The only problem is that it's too easy to keep drinking them because they taste so darn good..
